Faith Kimberling

Faith has a BA in English from Bucknell, graduate credits in Dance Ed from SUNY and a DEL teaching certificate from the 92nd Street Y . She has been teaching for 10 years. She has taught creative movement and pre-ballet for the last 8 years and also taught creative movement and jazz as a dance teaching artist in residence in the public school system. She teaches Isadora Duncan/modern technique to ages 5-adult.She currently dances with Lori Belilove’s Isadora Duncan Dance Company. For many years she has danced for White Wave: Young Soon Kim, with whom she had the opportunity to dance in China and Inner Mongolia. Faith has also danced for Anna Sokolow, Molissa Fenley, Edisa Weeks, Lindt Ballet Theater, and Linda Diamond. She has also had a career in regional musical theater where favorite roles played include Cassie and Kristine/Judy in A Chorus Line, Tiger Lily in Peter Pan, Maggie in Brigadoon, Lorraine in 42nd Street, Geminae in Forum and the Satin doll in Sophisticated Ladies.Faith’s classes for young dancers strive to create joy for dance and music in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment.Faith loves dancing, teaching, and being a mommy to two beautiful girls!
