RENE CASILDO (aka Phantom)

PHANTOM is an 18 year old choreographer from the Bronx, NY. Dancing since the tender age of 8, he has developed a unique and versatile style of dance which draws it influences from such great performers and choreographers as Usher, Shane Sparks, Marti Kuldelka, and Janet Jackson. For that reason, he describes his style as Eclectic Hip-Hop. Armed with an arsenal of diverse dance moves, and possessing no formal training, Phantom has danced his way across stages across the city with such dance groups as the Kim Elliot Company, 2hot2handle, and several others. His also choreographed for up and coming artists such as Ron Starr, Crisis and S.O.L.I.D.

He currently teaches open level hip-hop classes at the Bridge for Dance center, and has taught at various other places like Alvin Ailey, University Community Center, and Kips Bay. With his eclectic blend of Hip-Hop and R&B, and his exciting teaching style, he plans to take the music world by storm and become one of music’s top choreographers.
