NAO YAMADA

Born and raised in Tokyo
Japan. Nao Yamada began Ballet training at the age of 10 with
the ambition of becoming a well-rounded dancer. She move to NYC in
2000 and attended the well renowned the Alvin Ailey school.
As an international
performer, Nao has worked with numerous television, film, and
magazine productions. In cities such as Tokyo, Salvadr, and New
York. Some noteworthy performances include " Rumba Dreams", Marc
Jacobs fashion event, and a performance for the Japanese consulate
in Brazil.
She is currently working
with a variety of dance companies including Michael Mao Dance
(modern), Grupo Ribeiro (Brazilian), Fusha dance (Congolese) and
Kotchagna (West African).
Class Description:
Samba
is a rhythmic, energetic dance form originated from Brazil as known
worldwide.
And for the first time our
dance studio is offering Samba class. Not only will you learn Samba,
but other rhythmic Afro-Brazilian dances such as Afroxe and Samba
Reggae.
Nao's class is an open level
class, and all levels, including absolute beginners are welcome! The
only thing that she requires for this class is a smile!
