Adult Classes: Jazz Dance

Mark Mindek, a graduate of the Hartford Conservatory is a dancer, teacher and choreographer in New York City.  He performs many forms of dance including jazz, modern, renaissance, baroque, 19th century and early 20th century social dance.   He has toured the US, Europe and the Far East.

Teaching credits include Morelli Ballet, the Joffrey Ballet School, Young Audiences of New York, Symphony Space, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and master classes in
Connecticut and in Germany.

Class will focus on body placement and
qualities of movement. 

By drawing from modern, ballet, contemporary and musical theater vocabularies, combinations will be designed to explore jazz dance styles, to build confidence
and to have fun.
